Our Community

Four years ago, Darren was selling a tenanted property. During an open for inspection, he found that two small children were in a house with drug addicted parents; with no food and no way to protect themselves from the evil surrounding them.

The images and desperation of those two kids are seared into Darren's heart and we have been asking "How do these kids ever have a chance to get out of this cycle?"

Our success will foster change. Our community is our future.

Bayside is involved with local community groups like Rotary and donate both time and money to projects that give at risk kids opportunities to achieve, chances to grow, and the ability to imagine possibilities that life can be different.

Alternative Schoolies Week -
Supports kids who want to travel to Cambodia or Africa to work in orphanages rather than follow the traditional Gold Coast option.

Ardoch Foundation -
Supports at risk kids who need financial and emotional support. Something as simple as a pair of new runners, books, or even food. Each year, Ardoch takes kids to Melbourne CBD for a day out. Some have never been outside Frankston

World Challenge -
Kids fundraise and organize this amazing program which fosters self-esteem, team work, world awareness, and commitment to bettering the planet.

We will double our charitable donations in 2010 - 2011
